About me:

Jamie Davey has been repairing and building guitars for almost 20 years. During this time he has worked on some very famous guitars for the likes of:

 

Slade, Albert Lee, Smokie, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Raymond Froggatt, The Charlatans, Tyla of Dogs D'amour, Scott Matthews and more recently The Futureheads.

Recently completed was an order for 20 Bespoke Custom built Telecaster, Stratocaster & Bass guitars for Rock Legends Status Quo!

 

Jamie is based at his workshop in Pattingham, deep in the heart of rural Shropshire, from where he offers customers a comprehensive repair, upgrade and set-up service.

Price guide:

Custom built guitars from £550
Full set-up (Acoustic & Electric) £50
Full refret £75 - £125 depending on type of neck
Refinish £100 - £300 depending on guitar type & finish required.
Rewire £25 - £50
Electric pick-up upgrades from £35
Acoustic pick-up fitting - a speciality using L.R. Baggs, Fishman & Schertler pick-ups.
