Rehearsal Rooms
The Smash Room offers access to four rehearsal rooms, each fully equipped with up to four vocal microphones, PA, drum shells and stands, guitar amps and bass amps. Our sound-treated rooms give you the optimum practice experience enabling you to achieve the perfect sound balance for your band. Each room also has a fan for use in the summer months and a heater for the winter cold. Our reception area also offers refreshments and free Wi-Fi.
*Drum shells and stands supplied – drummer must bring own cymbals.
Rehearsal Room Prices
All rehearsal rooms — £15 per hour
Room 1, Room 2, Room 3 and Room 4 are each £15 per hour. Standard sessions: 4pm–6pm (£30), 6pm–8pm (£30), 8pm–10pm (£30), 5pm–8pm (£45) and 7pm–10pm (£45). You can also request a different or longer session. Room allocation is confirmed by The Smash Room, so room preferences are not guaranteed.
Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 4pm–10pm. Saturday–Sunday closed.
Advance price notice: Rehearsal room hire will increase from £15 to £16 per hour from 1 November 2026 due to increased premises costs, including our rent increase. Bookings before then remain at the current £15 per hour rate.
Prices are subject to change at the discretion of The Smash Room management.
THE SMASH ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a session being cancelled the following charges will apply:
More than 48 hours notice – no charge
24-48 hours notice – a half fee is payable
Less than 24 hours notice/no show – the full session fee is payable
Last-minute cancellations are extremely difficult to refill and can prevent other bands from booking, so this policy applies to all rehearsal bookings. Any cancellation fee must be paid within 24 hours of cancellation. Payment details are provided when a fee is due.
